Cellular Abroad's Free Shipping Details

Cellular Abroad is happy to offer free Fed Ex ground shipping on all GSM Cell Phone package sales shipped within the contiguous United States.

Delivery time depends on location and is generally 2 - 3 business days within California and 5 - 8 business days elsewhere. Please allow enough time for your package to arrive prior to your departure.


Shipping
Cellular Abroad ships all orders (except for scheduled rentals) the same or next business day (Monday - Friday) depending on the time your order is received. Orders placed on the weekend and received by noon Pacific Standard Time will go out the same day or the very next business day. Orders may be shipped to home or business addresses only as our carrier, FedEx, does not service PO boxes. We do not ship to APO addresses. Due to the fact that FedEx Ground does not guarantee delivery dates, we must ship all rentals outside California via FedEx Express.

Your FedEx shipment will require a signature. We are happy to ship to an address other than your billing address to make sure your package arrives with maximum convenience to you. Please give us the best address for receiving a package when placing your order online or over the phone. For liability reasons and to ensure proper delivery of packages, we do not waive the signature requirement. We suggest that if you want to receive the package without a signature that you fill out a Signature Release Form at your local FedEx or FedEx Kinko's location to ensure you can receive unsigned packages. You'll be able to specify where you'd like the delivery person to place the package on this form and this will be kept on file for future deliveries to that address.

Note: While re-routing of shipments may be possible, be advised that this usually adds an extra day to shipments and FedEx charges $15 for this added service, so you would be billed this additional amount.

How to Order
You may order by calling our Order Line at 800-287-3020 or securely online through our custom shopping cart. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept money orders and cashier's checks.

Privacy
Your privacy is important and you have Cellular Abroad's absolute guarantee that all of your information will remain confidential. Your information will only be made available to Cellular Abroad staff and third parties such as Fed Ex, who are directly involved in the completion of your transaction. We request your email address only so that we can contact you online and send you information concerning your order. We do not collect email addresses and will not send you promotional solicitations.

What is your return policy?
A refund will be given for unopened products that are returned to Cellular Abroad within 30 days from the date that we ship you the product(s). Open-boxed SIM cards are not refundable. Open-boxed cell phones are returnable within 15 days from the date received and are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please note that we do not refund shipping charges. Phones must be in mint condition with no signs of wear or use, even if they are defective when received. We cannot accept even slightly worn cell phones or accessories. It is also imperative that the product box be returned inside a FedEx or other suitable shipping box. Defacing the manufacturer's phone box by writing anywhere on it or by pasting shipping labels on it makes it impossible to sell as a used product or to be returned to the manufacturer. If you deface the box, you buy the phone!

If your phone unit is defective, you must contact the manufacturer and have it repaired under the warranty enclosed with your phone. We will accept defective items in the rare occurrence that they are noticeably defective upon arrival, such as not powering-on after charging the phone. All defective items must include all original accessories, manuals, warranty cards and packaging. We cannot accept a package without an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). Contact us before returning any item in order to receive the RMA number. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs as well as shipping costs charged by Cellular Abroad for shipping your product(s).

Rentals will be charged at our normal rental rate once your rental phone leaves our premises. If you cancel your order after the phone has shipped, you will pay the rental period for which the phone is out of our premises and you will lose the shipping. Incomplete Rental Returns
Most of our phone rentals are returned in great shape and we are more than happy to apply the credit per our original rental agreement. Unfortunately, due to accidents or negligence, some of our customers return phones without all the original parts and pieces. Replacing these missing or damaged items is an expensive and time-consuming process for us. The following list details the replacement costs that will be charged for missing or defaced parts.
